About this product

The SodaPup Mandala eTray is a wide, shallow slow feeder tray for dogs with a raised mandala pattern that spreads a meal into small pockets, so fast eaters and flat-faced breeds eat more slowly from an easy-to-reach surface.

How to use

Scatter dry kibble across the tray, or spread wet food, raw food or a pureed treat into the mandala grooves. Freeze it filled for a longer session. Set it on a flat floor or mat, pick it up after the meal if your dog starts to chew it, and wash it on the top rack of the dishwasher.

Use it for

  • Fast eaters who finish a bowl of kibble in seconds
  • Flat-faced breeds like pugs, French bulldogs and bulldogs that struggle with deep bowls
  • Puppies and senior dogs that need an easy-to-reach surface
  • Frozen wet-food meals that take longer to lick clean
  • Matching your kitchen, with five colors to choose from

Who it's for, and who it's not for

  • For: small to medium dogs, flat-faced breeds, puppies, senior dogs and fast eaters.
  • Not for: large dogs that eat more than about 1 cup per meal, dogs that push their bowl around (there are no suction cups), or dogs that chew up rubber bowls.

Questions

How much food does it hold?

About 1 cup of food, per SodaPup, which suits small to medium dogs. If your dog eats more than that per meal, a deeper bowl is a better fit.

Does it have suction cups?

No. The regular Mandala eTray sits flat on the floor. SodaPup sells a separate Mandala Softie eTray with suction cups in a softer material.

Is it dishwasher and freezer safe?

Yes. SodaPup says the Mandala eTray is top-rack dishwasher safe and freezer safe.
